Here is how this works in practice. We plan gear packages so a production arrives with exactly what it needs and clears customs without delay. Our team assesses what can be sourced locally, camera, grip, lighting and power packs are ready through rental houses in Casablanca and the Ouarzazate studio hub, against what must be imported, and builds the kit list to match.

Here is the breakdown. On the ground, Gear brought into Morocco moves on ATA Carnets or short-term admission and clears through Moroccan Customs, the Admin des Douanes et Impôts Indirects, so we prepare accurate manifests, set up carnet records and schedule clearance with enough lead time to avoid gear being held. Planning accounts for the desert: dust and sand protection, heat running for cameras and media, and trusted power for remote Sahara bases far from the grid. All gear logistics are set up with the CCM-licensed production-services firm managing the shoot.

Here is how this works in practice. Two regulatory points shape gear planning in Morocco and we build for both. Drones need advance sign-off from the Centre Cinématographique Marocain, the DGAC civil aviation authority and, for many areas, military clearance, and drones imported without pre-clearance can be held at customs, so any aerial kit is planned and cleared well ahead of the shoot.
