Here is how this works in practice. Our team supplies fixers who make Moroccan shoots run smoothly — the people who know the country, the rules and the relationships that turn a plan into a production. We brief fixers on the full scope of the role: handling the CCM authorisation process, setting up with provincial (wilaya) authorities on permits, securing locations from desert sites to medina streets, arranging local crew, transport, lodging and suppliers, and solving the daily problems a shoot throws up.

Here is the layout. On the ground, Fixers we place act as the bridge between a global shoots and Morocco. This covers they speak Arabic, French and English, often Tamazight, they know local customs and how things actually get done, and they have the contacts to move fast. They work within the CCM-licensed production-services framework, advise on what is achievable, and protect the production's schedule, budget and reputation on the ground.

A capable fixer is key to working in Morocco, because all foreign filming runs through a structured framework: shoots must obtain CCM (Centre Cinematographique Marocain) authorisation and partner with a CCM-licensed local production-services firm. With permits also running through provincial (wilaya) authorities. Pro activity such as drone work needs further clearances from the CCM, the civil aviation authority (DGAC) and often the military.
